Saluda, VA – The Middle Peninsula Business Development Partnership and Ray Petrie of Belle Mount Vineyards are partnering to present an evening seminar on grape growing and winemaking. This workshop will be presented at the Saluda Professional Center on Monday, November 10, from 6 until 8 p.m. Key topics to be covered in the workshop will include Vineyard Site Selection, Soil and Nutrients, Grape Varieties, Trellis Designs, Pruning, Pest Control, Economics, and Resources. Winemaking Principles will include Fruit Sources, Equipment, and Legal Considerations.
