Annual Chesapeake Angler & Northern Neck Anglers Club Sport Fishing Seminar
A series of six consecutive presentations sharing information, places, and tips for fishing in the popular areas of the Chesapeake Bay and Tidal Rivers. The speakers will describe the fishing areas, the fish that can be found there, and how to catch them.
Admission: Advance registration is $15 per person which includes the cost of lunch which will be provided for all attendees. Free door prizes will be drawn during the day.
Attendance is limited to the first 225 persons registered.
Where: Northumberland County Community Center located at 679 Browns Store Road
Route 615 & 609 in Northumberland County west of Wicomico Church, VA.

Intergenerational Elderhostel-Stratford Hall Camp. This program is an expanded version of Stratford Hall’s Grandparents/Grandchild camp and is 5 days and four nights. It is open to adults 55 and older and a young relative or friend. Registration is through Elderhostel, Course #16283.

Area native Don Haynie will lead two workshops,one at 10 a.m. and another at 2 p.m. Co-owner of Buffalo Springs Herb Farm in the Shenandoah Valley and a member of Stratford Hall’s Historic Gardens Advisory Panel, Mr. Haynie is well known in the region for his skill at floral arranging.
